Everything says none left
Dale asked for urgency, so June put 'only two left' on every product. Nine thousand people bought at once, and the badge came true - the shop sold out.
The mistake
The stock-count field on every product page gets hardcoded to a fixed 'Only 2 left' string instead of reading the real inventory number, so the urgency label is completely decoupled from actual stock state. That fake scarcity signal triggers a simultaneous rush from thousands of shoppers hitting checkout at once, which the system can't absorb, and by the time the real counts are wired back in, the genuine inventory has actually been sold out.
