Every single time
June shipped the privacy banner exactly as the design asked: on every page, every time. Nine thousand customers accepted it that day and forty-one reached the shop.
The mistake
The banner's dismissal is never persisted — clicking Accept only hides the element in the current page's DOM, and no cookie or localStorage flag is written to record the choice. Because the check runs on every page load and always finds no stored consent, the banner reappears on every navigation and every reload, including on the same page. The analytics compound the problem: each render-and-accept is logged as a fresh consent event, so the acceptance rate reads 100% while customers are stuck clicking instead of shopping.
