Toby cached the whole logged-in dashboard at the edge with no user in the cache key. Every employee got served the admin's session.
The mistake
Toby caches an authenticated page at the CDN without putting the user in the cache key. The first response to arrive is stored and handed to everyone after it — a 40ms dashboard that belongs to whoever loaded it first.
