Dale wanted the site to show up on Google, so Toby deleted the file telling the crawler what to skip. It worked. The admin page is the top result.
The mistake
The file that keeps pages out of search results is not a security control, but deleting it is still how the private ones get found. Nothing was made public that morning — it was already reachable. It just became findable.
